Hold up, I'll look.

EDIT:
My list had:
Kraizer
Nerd1000
Orangecreamie
Segolia
Sanford (kinda to be nice, I think he's only semi-active, but still a really nice guy)
The_Marksta
Wolf
Taco
Snake_666
Viktor (who just joined, I think)
SirPaper
Plus one other guy who I don't know what his forum name is... "[SDS-B]BigBang", although that might be Taco.

EDIT:
Forgot SirPaper, whoops!

Nonono, those ARE the active ones, as in, the ones I see at least every few days.

And yeah, Viktor is SDS now. He has the tags, and both him and Kraizer where in the same group as well, so I assume he wasn't impersonating an SDS dude.

1st, i think ur killing the thread hardly.

2nd, marskta´s 1stoption n 2ndoption stuff sounds pretty nice.

3rd, the actives we got inside the division atleast:

1, Me
2, Stef
3, Uber (soon)
4, Grip (recently inactive, might kickin randomly like every 3rd month or more)
5, Kobre (same as grip)
6, Ally (when fixed graph card)
N more that kickin like once a year, very odd.

So, we are 3-6+ members atm.(mostly 3)

So judging on the 6 actives thingy, its actually about 9.(if they actually are active, so far ive only seen paper, kraizer n orange if im not wrong recently)

Viktor is in the SDS. I've withheld usergroup access until he demonstrates good conduct and behavior for a little while is all.

Can we get back to topic now, please? SDS has a lot of people. End fo point. Next?

I suggest we keep Kraizer's rule set combined with the SWWT Demo battle + one little tweak: Every fighter has 2 lives.
Also we need an Admin(Doju?) to look at our event and moderate everything.

Thus:
For one side:
No more than 6 Fighters in an engagement.(Provided they already have a base to launch from)
No more than 4 Fighters and an SC in an engagement.(Same as above)
No more than 3 Fighters and an LC in an engagement.(LC counts as base to launch from)
No more than 1 Fighter, 1 SC and 1 LC in an engagement.(LC counts as base to launch from)

Fighter = Bomber
2 Fighters = SC
3 Fighters = LC

Fighters may swap for bombers at any time(Character Change, Bomber must be present at the same base of operations.).
Bombers may not swap for fighters after changed.
Losing LC or Base of Operations counts as instant loss for that side.
Fighters have 2 lives.
SCs and LCs have 1 life.

20 Minutes are granted for the attackers to succeed in capturing. Each player that the Attackers have above the Defenders number drops 2 minutes from the counter(2 Lives = 2 Minutes). Each player the Defenders have above the Attackers adds 2 minutes to the maximum engagement time.

If time is up the Defenders succeed in Defending.

But even with a 3rd party observer, it's still a pain to keep track of what ships are being traded for what, and so on.

Also, what are our bombers? Do VHF's count as bombers? They're the most versatile craft we currently have right now and can mop up just about anything from fighters to capitls.

I'd still go for a point system. 10 points as a base. Fighters 1 point, SC's 2 points, LC's 3 points. Stations 5 points. Player stations, that is, but I know nobody aside from con that flies one.

Perhaps a +2 poitn bonus to the defender
+2 bonus to defender if it is the last remaining base within the system they control (Last Stand Bonus)
+2 to attackers if attacking from in-system
-1 to attackers if using a player carrier

Whatever, just something like that I feel would work the best. 2 fighters can take out a SC and a SC and a fighter can more than handle a Battleship. the 1,2,3 number system, in my opinion, works fine.

But we shall see. In addition, I'd like to point out that the poitns system requires no on-the-fly checking of trade-ins, waves, etc. and allows each side to field an initial fleet that they feel is best suited for the job.

My idea, everybody fights in alaska.
The last player standing wins.
Easy.

One would have to admit to Alaska's relative ease of access for all parties...

VHFs = Bombers. And since the recent tweaks(Snipers nerfed. Missiles.) they suck against Fighters.
2 Fighters hardly can take out an SC. Especially when backed up by some other fighters(Its a clan war, 10+ combatants, have that in mind.). Worst thing it can happen is the SC to retreat.

I'm fine by the point system. But why not use KJ's point system then? Its already done.

Just stop thinking and reset your brain.
This is "slowly" turning into Disco, with all that serious and hard to understand RP.
Keep it simple.

You want to fight for a system, Alaska is the best place. Why? cuz it kinda sucks having to set the rep to keep it "fair".
Also, theres a JH/JG for it in the four main systems. Everybody can jump in easily.
And if you want to keep the PvP fair, just destroy the JG to the arena and you'll be sure no one will jump in.

Also, in the case of Alaska, there's no chance of the whole fight being interrupted by a Squadron of Outcast Capital Ships spawning right in the middle of the battle.

I voted to having it on-site because that's exactly how a real fight would happen. It makes no sense to fight over a base andnot have a base present.
