Made it in wings 3d. Aren't I amazing?

the zip contains the wings file and the texture. I suck at texturing, and the texture itself is bloated and horrible. feel free to make a better one.

It is modeled after the space rocket form the 60's TV show. Google it, I didn't make up the name.

Yup. Mail's exactly that. An Email client.

And: Thunderbird does look cool.
Two questions: where's the sleeping quarters? And: what show/movie/book is it from?

I actually do use thunderbird for email. I was unaware that there was a competitor called "mail" though. The ship is from the 60's tv-series "thunderbirds". the series was filmed using supermarionation (a portmanteau of super, marionette and animation) and scale models for the vehicles. google it. as far as sleeping is concerned, maybe international rescue felt that they weren't going to be doing any space rescues that would take more than 24 hours? dunno.

You don't know what the Thunderbirds are?!?

We must educate him!

Also wasn't Thunderbird 3 more for getting to Thunderbird 5?
